Effective August 8, 2026
1. Acceptance and document priority
By using this website, submitting information, or completing a payment through a GCCS checkout link, you agree to these Terms of Use and the policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the website, submit information, or complete the transaction.
A countersigned facility agreement, private-service proposal, sponsorship agreement, invoice, or checkout description may contain terms specific to that transaction. Those specific written terms control if they directly conflict with these general website terms. Nonwaivable rights under applicable law remain in effect.
2. Non-clinical boundaries
Gulf Coast Connection Services (GCCS) provides non-clinical communication and everyday technology support. GCCS does not provide medical care, nursing care, clinical advice, emergency services, or medical-device management. Public forms are limited to the minimum scheduling, authorization, and service-coordination information requested. Resident-identifiable coordination information may constitute Protected Health Information when GCCS handles it for a covered entity; when applicable, that information may be handled only under the parties’ written agreement and a Business Associate Agreement when required.
GCCS equipment is consumer communication technology—not a medical device, patient-monitoring system, nurse-call system, or emergency-response service. It is not used to diagnose, monitor, prevent, or treat a medical condition.
Call 911 or the appropriate emergency service for an emergency. Direct medical or care concerns to the resident's facility or a qualified healthcare professional.
3. Booking requests
Request only—no appointment or charge. Submitting a form creates a service request only. It does not reserve an appointment, authorize entry into a facility or private residence, create a service obligation, authorize a charge, or guarantee availability. A private request can be confirmed only after GCCS verifies resident or representative authorization, travel area, service scope, timing, and the written service fee. No private payment becomes due until the requester receives and accepts those terms in writing.
Private in-home appointments are priced at $125 for each confirmed service hour within the GCCS service area. Additional hours may be added at $125 per hour when GCCS confirms availability. Additional travel fees may apply when an appointment requires added travel. GCCS discloses any additional travel fee before the requester confirms the appointment or makes payment.
The online status lookup is provided for convenience and does not display live connection links. A confirmation email or direct communication from GCCS governs if it conflicts with a stale browser view.
4. Authorization and consent
You agree to provide accurate information and submit a request only when authorized. A representative must select the authority relied upon and identify where verification documentation is maintained. Submission does not itself establish authority. GCCS may suspend or decline action until authority is verified. Facility approval, resident consent, authorized-representative approval, volunteer screening, parent or guardian consent, and other requirements may apply before a service or placement occurs.
A GCCS authorization form does not authorize medical decision-making, access to medical records, or consent to clinical treatment.
5. Online paperwork and electronic signatures
The online paperwork center creates a packet from the role, services, and information selected by the signer. A facility packet includes the applicable pilot agreement, confidentiality and privacy acknowledgment, and operational scheduling form. A resident packet includes participation consent and only the family-contact, media-permission, or personal-device sections that apply.
By electronically signing and submitting, the signer consents to conduct the transaction electronically, confirms that the complete generated packet and incorporated terms were available to review and retain, and intends the typed name to serve as the signer’s electronic signature. GCCS retains the agreement version and snapshot presented, signer identity and email, signer role, selections, acknowledgments, UTC submission time, Central Time business date, and confirmation reference. A paper process may be requested before submission by contacting GCCS.
Minimum necessary information only. Do not enter or upload medical records, diagnoses, treatment details, medications, medical-record numbers, insurance records or cards, Social Security numbers, government identification images, clinical notes, portal credentials, passwords, verification codes, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. If a participating facility must transmit additional protected information, use only the facility-approved secure channel established in the parties’ written agreement. The public paperwork center does not accept document uploads.
Facility documents do not bind GCCS until countersigned when a GCCS signature is required. If a lawful service arrangement requires a Business Associate Agreement, no workflow requiring that protected information begins until the agreement and approved transmission method are in effect.
6. Payments and Stripe
Online payments are processed by Stripe through a Stripe-hosted checkout page. You authorize Stripe and the applicable payment network or financial institution to process the amount and payment schedule displayed before confirmation. GCCS does not collect or store the full payment-card number or security code.
You are responsible for providing accurate payer, billing, and contact information and for using a payment method you are authorized to use. Do not enter resident names, room or unit numbers, diagnoses, treatment information, or other medical or care information in Stripe payment fields. Taxes, recurring billing, sponsorship recognition, service scope, and other transaction-specific terms will be displayed or provided in writing when applicable.
A payment is not tax-deductible merely because it supports GCCS community programming. Gulf Coast Connection Services LLC is a for-profit company and does not represent Community Support or Community Sponsorship payments as charitable donations or charitable tax deductions.
7. Community Support and Community Sponsorship
Community Support is a flexible, one-time payment that helps fund service hours and adaptive equipment. It does not purchase a sponsorship tier, advertising benefit, facility naming right, reserved service block, or charitable receipt unless a separate written offer expressly says otherwise.
Community Sponsorship is a separate one-time or recurring business arrangement. The selected sponsorship level and written offer identify the direct-impact commitment, billing schedule, duration, and any agreed recognition such as a Sponsor Wall listing, linked logo, guidebook recognition, digital badge, impact statement, facility naming right, homepage placement, or press inclusion. Recognition remains subject to timely payment, appropriate content, facility approval when required, available placement, and the written sponsorship terms.
A sponsor is responsible for having permission to provide a name, logo, website, or other brand material. GCCS may reject or remove material that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe, inconsistent with resident dignity, or incompatible with a participating facility's rules. Sponsors should consult their own tax professional concerning the treatment of a business sponsorship.
8. Cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and disputes
The complete Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated into these terms.
Unless transaction-specific written terms state otherwise, a private-pay service may be cancelled or rescheduled without a cancellation fee at least 24 hours before its confirmed start time. A late cancellation or no-show may be nonrefundable because the time was reserved. If GCCS cancels or cannot provide the paid service, the payer may choose a full refund, service credit, or rescheduled appointment.
Community Support payments are generally final after processing, except for duplicate, unauthorized, or processing-error transactions, other circumstances GCCS approves, or when a refund is required by law. A recurring Community Sponsorship may be cancelled before its next billing date to stop future charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund a completed billing period or benefits, recognition, equipment, or service hours already delivered or committed.
To report a payment problem, request a refund, cancel recurring billing, or raise a dispute, contact GCCS at info@gulfcoastconnectionservices.com or 228-313-6288. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights available through a payment-card issuer or financial institution.
9. Resident media and visual content release
GCCS may record, photograph, or use a resident's image, video, or voice for an identified training, operational, website, digital, print, social-media, or promotional purpose only after receiving an affirmative written or electronic permission covering that use. Media permission is optional and is not a condition of receiving GCCS services.
GCCS will not attach or publish a resident's full name, date of birth, facility room or unit number, medical details, or other unnecessary identifying information with approved media. However, a face, image, or voice may permit recognition and should not be understood as anonymous merely because written identifiers are omitted.
A signer acting for a resident must have the legal authority claimed and may be required to complete separate verification through an approved secure channel. Permission may be withdrawn for future use by contacting GCCS, but withdrawal does not undo uses made before the request was received and processed or guarantee retrieval of material already printed, distributed, reposted, or archived by others. A participating facility's requirements, a covered entity's authorization, and any applicable Business Associate Agreement also control.
10. Technology and connectivity
GCCS services may depend on third-party hardware, software, electrical power, carrier coverage, cellular signal, network congestion, facility Wi-Fi, internet service, and platform availability. GCCS uses commercially reasonable efforts to prepare, troubleshoot, restore, or substitute available service. If a material interruption prevents a paid session, GCCS will reschedule the affected session or provide an appropriate service credit. Nothing in this notice limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.
GCCS does not warrant uninterrupted operation of third-party hardware, software, electrical power, cellular service, internet service, facility networks, or video platforms. Nothing in this provision limits responsibility for GCCS's gross negligence, willful misconduct, violation of law, or obligations that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Student volunteers
Student volunteers are non-clinical community partners. Participation is subject to application review, background or conduct screening, facility approval, and completion of GCCS orientation. Volunteers do not provide medical, nursing, direct personal care, transfers, medication assistance, or unsupervised clinical services.
The online application is limited to applicants age 14 or older. An applicant ages 14 through 17 may not proceed to onboarding or placement until a parent or legal guardian reviews and electronically executes the current GCCS Parental/Guardian Permission & Liability Release linked to that application. The guardian must consent to the electronic transaction, represent legal authority, review the program boundaries and risk acknowledgment, and type a matching legal name as the intended electronic signature. Photo and media permission is optional and does not affect application review.
GCCS may verify hours actually completed under its program, but an educational institution or facility determines whether those hours qualify for community service, academic credit, an internship, or another requirement. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, placement, a particular schedule, or credit.
12. Appropriate use
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent requests, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that violates law, facility policy, school policy, or another person's rights.
13. GCCS-provided equipment and facility responsibilities
Unless a written sale expressly states otherwise, GCCS-provided displays, tablets, hotspots, mounts, cases, audio accessories, and related materials remain GCCS property. Authorized access, custody, delivery, return, loss or damage, approved location, power, connectivity, support boundaries, cleaning procedures, rescheduling, and credits are governed by availability and the applicable countersigned service agreement or written service terms.
14. Website information and intellectual property
GCCS works to keep website information accurate and current, but content may be updated without notice. General information is not a guarantee of facility participation, program availability, placement, a particular outcome, or a confirmed service.
The GCCS name, logo, website design, written content, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Gulf Coast Connection Services LLC and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without permission.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GCCS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising solely from website use, third-party services, connectivity interruptions, volunteer placement decisions, or reliance on general website information. This provision does not replace negotiated enterprise contract terms and does not waive responsibility or rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
16. Changes, governing law, and contact
GCCS may revise these terms as services, technology, payment options, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material transaction terms accepted before a revision remain governed by the version or specific agreement applicable to that transaction unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise.
These general website terms are governed by Mississippi law, without displacing any nonwaivable consumer protection or other rights that apply. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
