Contact GCCS01What is Gulf Coast Connection Services?+
GCCS is a non-medical resident connection and technology-support service for care communities. We provide three focused programs: family video calls, resident technology support, and reserved tablet sessions.
02Who can use GCCS services?+
Services are designed for residents of participating care communities, their approved family contacts, and authorized facility teams. Availability depends on the facility’s GCCS program and schedule.
03How long are appointments?+
Family video calls are scheduled for 30 minutes. Resident tech support and reserved tablet sessions are generally scheduled for one hour.
04Is a request automatically confirmed?+
No. Submitting the booking form requests an available time. GCCS reviews authorization and facility details before sending the final confirmation. Google Meet details are provided after a video visit is confirmed.
05Does the facility need to provide technology?+
No. GCCS brings and operates the designated program equipment. Facility teams provide an approved location, a point of contact, and any required resident or facility authorization.
06Does GCCS provide medical care or advice?+
No. GCCS is non-medical and non-clinical. We do not diagnose, treat, monitor, or provide medical advice, emergency support, or clinical services.
07How does GCCS approach privacy?+
GCCS uses privacy-aware workflows, limits information to what is needed for coordination, follows participating-facility policies, and asks families not to enter diagnoses, insurance information, passwords, or unnecessary medical details.
08What if my loved one’s facility is not listed?+
Contact GCCS. We can explain current availability and speak with facility leadership about a pilot or ongoing program.
